Starting Over
Wow! It's been a crazy couple months. Okay let's face it - more like 6 months. I started school again, decided coaching youth hockey was a really great idea (hindsight - it's been very trying and stressful) and just every day to day life events I've been much too busy to even think about stopping to update the blog.
I also have been majorly lacking in the way of focusing on myself and my health. New Years goal is to focus on myself and all things about me.
My plan was to start February 1st. January was a "trial month", my freebie month, my month to just ease into the year. I had a work trip to Cozumel, which everyone managed to pick up the influenza virus. I've been battling to get back to a point where I can start to work out again. In the mean time I've been trying to focus mostly on nutrition. It hasn't gone as well as I had hoped but there's always tomorrow in which I can begin again.
Biggest goal - start meal prepping again on Sunday! I was doing this so well at this time last year and it made the biggest difference. It was so easy to just grab breakfast (usually overnight oats or egg muffins) and lunch, throw it into my lunch bag and out the door I would go. I'm not struggling with both of these because it's not nearly as efficient. Dinners - don't even get me started on the struggle there cooking for one. These are usually a hodge-podge of whatever is handing and definitely not even close to having nutrients I need.
So in regards to starting over - I know it is never too late and that is where I am at now. Starting over - with my fitness and nutrition. Come along with me for this ride. I'll be sharing some of my favorite recipes along with workouts. I'll be starting a great, new program that has people seeing amazing results.
